Our Beliefs
God
The living Father
We believe in one personal living God who exists eternally in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, equal in power, authority and glory.

Jesus Christ
Gods precious Son
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of the living God, the second person of the Trinity. On earth, Jesus was 100% God and 100% man. He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for all mankind and thus, atoned for our sins through the shedding of His blood. He rose from the dead on the third day, ascended to the right hand of the Father, and will return again in power and glory.

The Holy Spirit
the third Person of the Godhead
We believe in the Holy Spirit who regenerates and indwells every believer in Jesus, from the moment of salvation. He assures us of our salvation, guides us into all truth, glorifies Jesus and convicts of sin, righteousness and judgment. He comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and empowers us for service.

The Bible
God-breathed and profitable
We believe that the scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are God’s Word to us and that men were moved by the Spirit of God to write the very words of Scripture. Because it is inspired by God, it is the truth completely without error.
2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; 2 Timothy 1:13; Psalm 119:105, 160; Proverbs 30:5; John 17:17; Hebrews 4:12
Humanity
Man and Woman
We believe that all people were created in the image of God to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, people are incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through their own efforts. But that salvation and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Genesis 1:27; Psalm 8:3-6; Isaiah 53:6a; Romans 3:23; Isaiah 59:1-2
Salvation
Available in Jesus alone
Salvation is God’s free gift to us, but we must accept it. We can never make up for our sin by good works or self-improvement. Only by believing and trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness can anyone be saved from sin’s penalty. When we turn from our life and turn to Jesus, in faith, we are saved.

The Church
Body of followers of Jesus
We believe in the universal church, the body of Christ, of which Jesus Christ is the head. The members of the church are those who have trusted by faith in the finished work of Christ. The purpose of the church is to glorify God by loving him, obeying Him and bringing the gospel to the world. As well as, to work together in love and unity, intent on the ultimate purpose of glorifying Christ.

Eternity
Heaven and Hell
We believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishing of His Kingdom, in the resurrection of the body, and the final judgment. We believe that our eternal destination of either heaven or hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.
John 3:16; 1 John 2:25; 5:11-13; Romans 6:23; Matthew 24:30; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-17; Revelation 20:15
Marriage
An institution and creation of Gods
We believe, based on the teaching of the scriptures in both the Old and New Testaments, that marriage is an institution ordained by God from the foundation of the world, and intended as a lifelong union of one man and one woman as created by God.
The Apostle Paul states in Ephesians 5:22-32 that marriage is not merely a human institution, but is a special divine metaphor that is supposed to illustrate the union of Christ and the church. For this reason, only a union between one man and one woman can be a proper marriage. Any other union between a collection of people could not properly illustrate the relationship between Christ and His Church.
